Lender Relations Specialist, SBA
Lionel “Leo” Davila has been a Lender Relations Specialist with the SBA since January, 2011. He is also the District Veterans Business Development Officer currently working with other SBA resource partners in the delivery of the Boots to Business/ Reboot Program for transitioning military personnel. Prior to joining the SBA, Leo performed medical administration for the Department of Defense at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio. From 1988 to 2002 Leo was the Economic Development Program Manager for the San Antonio Housing Authority and also performed economic development in Massachusetts where he managed a micro-loan program and provided small business bilingual training. Leo deployed twice as part of an air evacuation squadron during the Iraq war and retired in 2011 as a Senior Master Sergeant with a combined 31 years of military service in the Army National Guard and Air Force Reserve.
