Intern, Launch SA & MBA Student, StMU
Ashley Hass recently moved to San Antonio from Orlando, Florida last year. She completed her undergrad at Polk State College in Winter Haven, Florida with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration. Hass played volleyball in college there and then after finishing her eligibility she stayed to coach for three years, where her collegiate team finished 6th and 10th in the national tournament for the first time in school history.
In San Antonio she transitioned from coaching to working for the MBA Director at St. Mary’s University along with being a Project Manager in the Harvey Najim Center for Business Innovation and Social Responsibility. She started an internship with Launch SA in July, where she currently works. Hass had the opportunity of running Launch SA’s pilot program for the Social Innovation Lab. The Lab was able to meet CEO David Holmes from Santikos, Gordon Hartman from Morgan’s Wonderland, and Eric Cooper from the Food Bank. Hass will graduate with her MBA in December and plans on traveling to Schmalkalden, Germany to finish her dual Master’s Degree in International Business and Economics.
